فرسان الجمهورية الرومانية

I've been using these for my Pyrrhic War army and the mixed armour styles really let me differentiate squadrons. The detail on the cavalrymen's faces and equipment is crisp enough to paint quickly without losing the historical look.

These horses have just the right amount of heft for 28mm gaming, and the detail on the cavalrymen's chainmail and scale armour is crisp enough to take a wash easily. I'm already planning my second box for a full Punic Wars contingent.

The mixed armour styles are the real selling point here—every figure feels distinct, which makes basing them a lot more fun. Sixteen riders is a solid number for building out a Pyrrhic War force without breaking the bank.
