فرقة روما الإمبراطورية الحربية

The bolt shooter crew adds a nice centerpiece to the unit, and the 41 figures give plenty of bodies for a solid shield wall. I had to do a little cleanup on a few mold lines, but the detail on the scuta is really crisp once painted.

The 41 figures give you a full legion core right out of the box, and the poses are varied enough that my units don’t look like clones. Assembly was straightforward, though a few spears needed careful handling. Deployed them against my Gauls last night—they held the line exactly as you’d hope.

The bolt shooter is the real standout here, and the crew figures fit together without any gap-filling. Painted up, the whole 41-figure warband looks like a proper legion lined up for battle.
