The variety of arm and head options in this kit let me build a really distinct unit without any duplicates. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the plastic casts were with minimal mold lines to clean up.

The spear arms slot into the hands cleanly, and with all the extra shields and crests in the box I built a full 27-man unit without repeating a single pose. Assembly took an evening but the detail on the muscle cuirasses makes it worth the effort.

The sheer number of spare heads and weapon arms in the box caught me off guard, and I've already built two dozen pikemen with completely different helmets and shield poses. The plastic takes paint well and the pike shafts stay straight, which is more than I can say for some metal kits I've bought.
