Category: 12mm WWII

This set includes 6 superbly detailed 12mm/1:144 scale tanks and a decal sheet (Allied stars and British divisional marking). The Firefly mounted the most powerful gun, the 17 pounder, of any Allied tank. It could take on most German tanks at normal battle ranges but lacked a high explosive round so was not effective against soft targets and infantry.

I was blown away by how crisp the 17-pounder barrel looks at this scale—it really sells the Firefly’s punch. The decal sheet with British markings lets me finish them off for a proper late-war British force.

At this tiny scale, the level of detail on the hull and turret is genuinely impressive, and the 17-pounder barrel looks properly menacing. The decal sheet gives you enough Allied stars and British markings to outfit all six tanks, which is a nice bonus. These will paint up beautifully for a small fo

The 17-pounder barrel on these little Fireflies is what sold me—it’s crisp and properly proportioned, not blobby like some 12mm kits I’ve dealt with. The decal sheet gives you enough Allied stars and British markings to actually finish all six without scrounging.
