This is a banner and shield transfer sheet for Gripping Beast Breton figures for their Saga rules system. (can also be used with other nationalities and miniatures)
The Bretons were of Celtic ancestry. Rather than just do the typical Norman style of tdesigns I tried to reflect a bit of a Celtic influence with the style of the crosses and adding knottwork and some Celtic spirals. Mixed with a Norman and Frankish influence as well, they give the Bretons a more distinct appearance to the thier Norman bully boy!neighbours.

The dragon motifs on these transfers are sharp and vibrant, really bringing out the Celtic look on my Gripping Beast figures. They went on smoothly with just a bit of water and settled nicely over the shields and banner. Perfect for adding that authentic Breton touch to a Saga warband.

The banner transfers settled flat without any silvering, which is rare for transfers this small. I used them on Gripping Beast plastics and the Celtic-style designs really pop on the shields once varnished. The sheet gives you plenty of spares for when you inevitably mess one up.
