Russian Transfers 2

Was a bit worried about getting the tiny stars and unit markings to line up on 12mm bases, but the carrier film is so thin they almost disappear once applied. Used warm water and they slid off the paper in seconds with no silvering at all. Really brings those Soviet infantry stands to life.

These transfers laid perfectly flat over the complex curves of my 12mm T-34 turrets with just a bit of Micro Set. The red star details are crisp and opaque enough to show up clearly even on dark green paint. A huge time-saver compared to freehanding unit markings at this tiny scale.

After struggling with hand-painting tiny Soviet insignia, these waterslide decals made my 1:144 scale T-34s look incredibly crisp. The transfers lifted off the paper smoothly and conformed nicely to the curved turret surfaces. Exactly what my WWII diorama needed.
