I was pleasantly surprised how well these shield transfers fit the Gripping Beast plastic figures—the alignment on the curved shields was nearly perfect. The designs themselves have good variety, so my Dark Age warband doesn't look too uniform.

The waterslide decals went on smoothly over the shield curves without any silvering, which was a nice surprise for the price. I used them on a mix of Viking and Saxon figures from that plastic box, and the designs fit the round shields perfectly. These are a solid buy if you want to add some variety

Applied three of these to my Saxon plastics and they sized up perfectly to the round shields—no trimming needed. The detail on the designs is crisp and matches the historical feel of the boxed set nicely. Really pleased with how easy they were to position.
