The application was surprisingly easy—even the curved surfaces of the 28mm shields came out clean with no lifting. I’ve used other decals that were a hassle, but these stayed put after a quick dip in warm water. Definitely saved me hours of freehand painting for my army.

The shield transfers snugly fit the curved faces of my 28mm figures, and the adhesive held firm after a quick dip in water. Makes painting a full Macedonian phalanx feel achievable, even for a slow painter like me.

Took my time applying these to my phalanx bases, and the results are sharp—the intricate shield designs really pop on the 28mm figures. Each transfer lines up perfectly with the standard shield faces, making the whole unit look cohesive.
