I was pleasantly surprised by the crispness of the designs once applied; the eagle motifs really pop against the shield. They trimmed easily to fit the curved surface without any peeling, which saved me a lot of frustration. A solid upgrade for giving these late Roman units some real character.

The sheet has enough variety of unit markings to cover a full cohort, which saved me hours of freehand painting. They conformed nicely over the curved shields with just a dab of water.

The decals laid flat without any silvering, even on curved shields. I had them applied to a full cohort in about an hour.
