I've been painting late Roman armies for years, and these Celtae Seniores markings finally give my auxilia palatina the authentic look they needed. The shield transfers conformed perfectly to the curved surfaces without any bubbles.

The transfers sit flat with almost no silvering once I applied a little setting solution, and the shield motifs line up perfectly on the curved surface of the round shields. They’ve held up through a few games without any peeling, which is exactly what I needed for my Late Roman unit.

The Celtae Seniores detail is crisp and really brings the Late Roman look together on my 28mm figures. I was surprised how easily the transfers settled into the armor's curves without silvering. A perfect match for the period.
