The decals have a nice matte finish that blends seamlessly once you seal them. Each shield design is crisp and historically accurate, making my Greek army look much more authentic. I just wish there were a few more Spartan lambda motifs included.

Applied these to my hoplite shields last night and the decals settled nicely into the recessed areas with a bit of Micro Sol. The variety of Greek patterns on the sheet is excellent, giving each unit a distinct look.

The shield transfers went on smoothly with just a bit of water, and the variety of Greek designs means I can make each hoplite look unique. Really brought my ancient army to life without needing any painting skill for the shields.
