I was worried the transfers might look too flat on 28mm cavalry, but the detail on the shield motifs is surprisingly crisp. The variety of designs lets me mix up a whole unit without repeating any.

The decals went on surprisingly easy with just water and a little patience, and the cavalry shield motifs really pop against the red and white paint schemes I used. Exactly what my 28mm Romans needed to look like they just rode off a parade ground.

I was a bit nervous about applying transfers this small, but these went on shockingly easy and settled into the armor folds without silvering. The variety of motifs on one sheet means I can kit out a whole unit without repeating a single shield design.
