Early Saxon Bucklers 1

I was worried about getting the transfers to lie flat on the curved shields, but they settled down nicely with a bit of setting solution. The variety of designs means no two shields look identical in my warband.

The transfer sheet is well-packed with a good mix of geometric designs that feel historically appropriate. I especially liked how the red and yellow patterns pop against the shield background after a quick dip in water.

The shield patterns are crisp and the registration is spot-on, making them easy to center on the round shields. I've already finished one base of warriors and the transfers really bring the early Saxon look together.
