The decals sit flush on the Gripping Beast plastic shields without any curling at the edges, which is a relief after some other sets I've tried. Took me about an hour to do a full unit of twelve, and the artwork matches the Dark Age vibe perfectly.

I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp the printed details are on these shield designs—the dragon motif really pops. They fit snugly onto my Saxon figures without any trimming needed. A solid upgrade for anyone building a Dark Ages warband.

The shield designs fit the Dark Age Warriors box perfectly, but what really got me was how cleanly they transfer onto the plastic—no fiddly trimming needed. I’ve already got a second batch printed for my Viking set.
