Numidian Cavalry Shield Design 3

My Numidian cavalry finally look like they just marched out of Zama after I applied these. The white undercoat really makes the deep red and yellow patterns pop, and the decal film disappears cleanly with a matte varnish.

The registration lines are crisp and the white backing makes them pop perfectly over a light undercoat. Each shield transfer applied smoothly with no silvering, even on the curved surfaces. Exactly what I needed to finish off my Numidian cavalry unit.

I was worried these transfers might be tricky to align on the curved shields, but they settled down nicely with a bit of decal solution. The white background made the Numidian patterns really pop.
