The shield bosses being separate is great, they fit perfectly into the recessed areas on my Gripping Beast shields. I've already decorated a whole unit of knights and the transfers stay put with just a bit of water.

I was a bit nervous cutting the transfers myself since they're un-cut, but the shield bosses made alignment surprisingly easy. The matte finish blends perfectly onto the 28mm shields, no silvering at all.

The shield bosses being left uncut is a huge timesaver — no more fiddling with tiny scissors. I was able to position them perfectly on my Arthurian knights' shields.
